CPU & I/O
The CPU calculation system is based on the number of cores. One whole core equals 100%. An I/O of 100 means you can perform up to 100 read/write operations per second on the disk. Resources are shared with other servers on the node, but nodes are distributed so they are never saturated — you always have your maximum resources when you need them.
Databases
The databases are SQL databases based on MariaDB. However, there is nothing to prevent you from connecting to databases outside our infrastructure (e.g. MongoDB Atlas).

Automatic Renewal
Paid plans renew monthly. Simply leave the necessary amount (credits) in your account and the system will automatically deduct the funds to renew your server. No need to worry about the renewal date.

FAQ
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. You keep access to the paid plan until the end of the current billing period.
Do paid servers need to be renewed?
Paid servers are automatically renewed as long as you have enough credits in your account.
Can I use free and paid servers together?
Yes! Free servers remain available alongside your paid servers.
Can I upgrade or downgrade a server's plan?
No, it is not possible to change the plan of an existing server. To use a different plan, you need to create a new server with the desired plan.
Can I change a server's type (Node.js / Python)?
Yes, you can switch between Node.js and Python at any time from the "Startup" tab on control.katabump.com.
